ASUS INTERNSHIP .

I learned a lot about working with a top IT business while I was an intern at ASUS. I worked with others on design projects, emphasizing user-centered solutions and making sure that practicality and beauty were balanced. My development as a UX designer was shaped by this chance, which improved my technical proficiency and gave me insights into how design affects user experience and brand identity.

2.

My career was completely changed by my time spent working at Softland Company in Saudi Arabia. Working with a lively team, I produced unique design solutions with an emphasis on improving user experiences using practical and imaginative methods. I was able to hone my problem-solving abilities and acquire useful knowledge of the professional design environment in this capacity, which increased my enthusiasm for user-centered innovation even more.

This experience improved my technical proficiency, sharpened my problem-solving skills, and expanded my knowledge of how design affects customer happiness. Additionally, it strengthened my enthusiasm for user-centered innovation and influenced how I approach design problems in a work setting.

CONTENT CREATOR.

Creating interesting and eye-catching content that showcases the LBPA Laurier Association's events, projects, and principles is my job as a content creator. My responsibilities include coming up with concepts, making graphics, and producing marketing collateral that appeals to the Laurier community.

My abilities in design, storytelling, and creative teamwork have improved as a result of this experience, and I am now more equipped to create powerful material that embodies the association's objective. It has been a fulfilling chance to combine communication and creative and contribute significantly to the LBPA.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I first became interested in photography in school, when I realized how much I loved using the camera to record moments and tell tales. I took pictures that captured important occasions and gave my teachers and friends enduring memories as I actively engaged in school events.

This early experience laid the groundwork for my future creative development by helping me hone my attention to detail, composition, and lighting. It also stoked my passion for visual storytelling, which still motivates me to create content and design today.

Remembering Bernice

The movie poster for Remembering Bernice is designed to evoke a sense of introspection and solitude, reflecting the protagonist’s journey of finding meaning in her new reality. Set against a richly detailed, classic courtroom environment, the poster features key visual elements such as a wooden judge’s bench, polished courtroom pews, and subdued lighting that conveys both grandeur and melancholy.

Emergency Winter Care Kit(UX201)

Objective:

Design two low cost socially relevant solutions that comprise community sharing box and community portable winter care kit that are centered on accessibility, sustainability and user well being.

Group 4 - GMP2 Slides_edited.jpg

Contribution:

  • Real world challenges, accessibility requirements and studied community needs.

  • Sketched iterative designs and planned structure, compartments, and clear signage.

  • Constructed an eco-friendly low fidelity community box out of recycled materials that people can easily access. Researched the risks and mobility difficulties encountered by people living in homelessness and exposed to cold weather.

  • Defined design criteria prioritizing warmth, dignity, portability, and harm reduction.

  • Developed and tested a small size winter care kit by modifying a bag and adding compartments.

Outcome:

  • We created two practical, sustainable models which fit the actual social demands. The community box helps in the sharing and minimizes waste; the winter care kit is a practical and understanding solution to harsh winter conditions.

Summary:

  • We built two community oriented, low cost prototypes including a sharing box and a winter care kit based on research, ideas of accessibility, and sustainable materials. Both projects not only helped me to improve my user centered design but also demonstrated how basic solutions can be thought out to make a significant social contribution.
